Tong High School is looking for a dynamic and forward thinking teaching and associate staff to work in our recently redesignated single Specialist Sports College, where we have also added Performance as our second subject. In 2008, we moved to a state of the art new building with excellent facilities and a full programme of extra-curricular activities.

Cover Supervisors

Hours: 37 hrs per week, term time + 5 days
Pay: Scale 5: £16874 – £18,506 (actual)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team of Cover Supervisors to work with staff and students in order to ensure Tong High School provides high quality lessons in the event of teaching staff absence.

The main duties will involve working with curriculum teams to ensure the organisation and delivery of cover lessons. Successful applicants will work in a variety of areas across the school including the Love to Learn Centre where full use can be made of the school’s growing Virtual Learning Environment.

Applicants should be educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience and have a minimum of three years experience of students in the school’s age range.

Closing Date 2.15pm Wednesday 8th February 2012.
