Doing our bit for others...

One of Tong’s key values is for students and staff to support, help and encourage each other. Students belong to smaller communities, resulting in a culture where every individual receives mentoring and is ‘looked out’ for by others.

This consideration for others is also true of Tong's approach to vulnerable people and important causes in our immediate community and around the world.

We run regular fundraising events and activities to do our bit for others, from Christmas concerts to bake sales, sporting challenges to dress-down days.

The money we raise goes directly to the people who need it most and we constantly seek new opportunities to do even more.

The major charity we support at present is the Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity devoted to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer.
