Uncollected exam certificates  

The school's exam office have many uncollected exam certificates, some going back as far as 2007.  If you left the school in the last few years but have never collected your certificates, please get in touch by calling Laurie Prowse on 01274 681455.  Any unclaimed documents which are more than 5 years old will be destroyed in the next few weeks.

Year 11 Period 7: All Year 11 students are encouraged to attend Period 7 intervention to help them achieve their target grades from 2.25pm-3.25pm. Monday – Maths, Tuesday – Humanities, Wednesday – Science, Thursday – English and Friday – Options.

GCSE Results Show Improvement at Tong: Students at Tong High School are celebrating today after collecting the GCSE results, which show an improvement on last year’s performance. 40% of students achieved the government’s benchmark of A*-C grades in Maths and English – up by 6 percentage points on last year. Today’s results demonstrate the strong progress the school is making, and shows that the hard work the school is undertaking to drive up standards is having a positive impact on the life chances of students. More...   

A Level Results: Tong School Sixth Form is again celebrating fantastic Post-16 Advanced Level exam results. The school’s Year 13 sixth form students have recorded an impressive 99% overall pass-rate at A-Level with 24 out of 26 subjects achieving a 100% pass rate. More...

Rock Challenge Champions of The North: Tong has beat other schools from across the North to be crowned champions in a performance competition.
